This isn’t a guide to feeling better. It isn’t a shortcut around the slow work of being a person. And it isn’t a religion, even though the depth of what happens can feel religious to some people.
What it is, in plain terms: a brief but intense experience facilitated by a particular medicine that’s been used ceremonially in the Sonoran Desert for a long time, and more recently in pockets of practice across North America and Europe. The experience itself lasts minutes. What it touches in you can take months or years to fully understand.
I make a few assumptions about the people who find their way to this site. You’ve been referred by someone. You’ve already done your own reading. You’re probably not looking for a fix — you’re looking for a witness, or for a confirmation that you’re not crazy for being curious about this kind of work.
This site exists for two reasons. First, so you can vet me. The medicine is intense enough that the person holding the space matters more than almost anything else, and you should be able to read my words and watch me speak and decide for yourself whether I’m someone you’d want in the room.
Second, so I can answer the questions I get asked most often without having the same conversation thirty times. The Library is where those answers live.
Start where you need to. There’s no right order.
